Draw the site's outline on the map and DroneCRM measures the acres. Your per-acre rate, minimum and extras (a 3D model, contours, stockpile volumes) do the rest, with travel added by the mile. Clients who order online draw the area themselves, and per-acre work is always priced from the drawn outline, never from a number someone typed.

Say Brushy Creek Builders wants their 14.2-acre site in Georgetown mapped with a 3D model. At a sample rate of $65 an acre plus $275 for the model, that's $1,198 before travel. The client signs and pays a deposit from their phone, and the signed quote becomes a job. The company, the site and the rates are all made up.

Monthly progress flights

Construction clients want the same site flown on the same day each month until the building's done. Book the first flight, then repeat it every week, two weeks, four weeks or month, up to 12 more times. Each repeat is its own job at the same local time, with the same site, pilot, aircraft and altitude, and each one is watched for airspace, TFRs and weather like any other booking.

The site's outline, access notes and contacts stay with the client, so the pilot flying month seven sees the same gate code and site superintendent as the pilot who flew month one. Farms and ranches that want a flight every few weeks through the season work the same way.

Near airports: controlled airspace and LAANC

Industrial parks and new subdivisions often sit under Class B, C or D airspace. Every booking is checked against the FAA facility maps at the altitude you'll fly. When a job needs LAANC, DroneCRM prepares the details from the site, time, altitude and assigned pilot, opens the LAANC app you already use, and gives you a place to record the answer. The remote pilot in command files the request.

If a job needs more altitude than the facility map allows, it's flagged for further coordination along with the filing deadline, 72 hours before the flight, so a monthly flight doesn't slip because the request went in late.

TFRs and weather, up to the morning you fly

Each booked job is checked against TFRs from the day it's booked to the morning of the flight, and against the forecast once the date is in range: wind at flight altitude against your limit, rain, visibility, daylight and Kp, which matters when your map depends on satellite positioning. When a TFR or a weather problem hits a booked job, you get an email and a notification on your phone or computer.

Treat those alerts as an early warning, not a clearance, and keep checking airspace as part of your preflight. DroneCRM never makes the go/no-go call.

Maps and 3D models with DataDelivery™

DroneCRM doesn't process imagery. If you'd rather not run processing software yourself, DataDelivery™ hosting from National Drone Services is an option: the job's photos go to NDS, and the finished maps, models and the client's delivery link come back to the job. When you put it on an invoice, NDS's $25 per job comes out of that payment, and whatever you charge above it is yours. It's optional, and DroneCRM works the same without it.

Batteries, aircraft and pilots

Mapping goes through batteries. On the Fleet plan, DroneCRM keeps your aircraft, batteries with their cycle counts, and maintenance logs, and tracks each pilot's Part 107 recurrent date. The calendar holds pilots, aircraft and batteries together and warns you when two jobs need the same one. Reports break the work down by pilot, client and service.
