Per-roof pricing and quick quotes

Put a per-roof price on your rate card, with a minimum, and the extras you offer: a damage summary, thermal, chimney and gutter close-ups. Travel goes on by the mile, and your own short-notice and rush surcharges cover the calls that come in the week after a storm. Quoting a regular contractor takes a few clicks, and they can sign and pay a deposit on their phone.

For example, Hill Country Roofing asks for two homes in Cedar Park. At a sample $325 a roof with a $95 damage summary on each, the quote comes to $840 before travel, and the contractor can sign it the same hour. Hill Country Roofing and the prices are made up.

Contractors who send work every week

Each contractor is a client with one page: their addresses as sites, every job, quote and invoice, and their emails filed under the right job. Add the office manager and the estimator as contacts so the right person gets each email. Contractors can book from your online order page, or order again for an address they've used before from their client page.

After a hailstorm, one contractor might send a dozen addresses in a week. Each address becomes a site under that contractor, each job goes on the calendar with its own forecast, and you can see at a glance which pilot is where.

Wind limits on every booking

Roof shoots are low and quick, but gusts still ground them. Set your wind limits once for the company or for each aircraft, and each booking shows the forecast for that address and hour against them, along with rain and visibility. When a booked job goes over, you get an email and a notification on your phone. On Pro and Fleet, Tower finds the next slot where the pilot is free and the forecast looks clear, and drafts a note to the contractor for you to send. Whether to fly stays your call.

Neighbourhoods near airports are checked against controlled airspace too. When an address needs LAANC, DroneCRM prepares the details and opens your LAANC app, and you file the request there.

Photos on the contractor's page

On site, your phone has the address, the site contact, the gate code, your shot list and your preflight checklist, and flight time is logged to the job as you go. Upload photos to the job before you leave, or from the desk later. Tick the ones to share and they appear on the contractor's client page, a private link they can open on any phone or computer without an account. The shared copies have the camera's location data removed.

Invoices and QuickBooks

The invoice comes from the quote, so there's nothing to retype. Contractors pay by card or bank transfer into your own Stripe account, and reminders go out on the schedule you set. On Pro and Fleet, invoices and payments sync with QuickBooks or Xero both ways. DroneCRM isn't accounting software, and it doesn't try to be: your books stay where your accountant already works.
