The service
DroneCRM is office software for drone service companies: quotes, scheduling, client email, invoices, payments, social posts, and Tower, an assistant that checks bookings against the weather and FAA airspace data. You sign up for your company, and you're responsible for who you invite and what they do in it.
Flying is your call
- DroneCRM doesn't file LAANC requests. You or your pilots file them in your own LAANC app; DroneCRM prepares the details and reminds you.
- Airspace and TFR alerts are an early warning, not a clearance. Restrictions can go up minutes before a flight. Check airspace in your LAANC app or B4UFLY before every flight.
- Weather in DroneCRM is a forecast from a third party. Tower never makes go/no-go calls; the remote pilot in command does, as the FAA requires.
- You're responsible for complying with Part 107 and every other rule that applies to your flights.
Your data
Everything your company puts into DroneCRM stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it to run the service for you, as described in our privacy policy. You're responsible for having the right to keep your clients' details in DroneCRM and to email them.
What DroneCRM sends
DroneCRM sends emails, social posts and changes to your books only when someone in your company approves them, or when your company switches a specific kind to automatic in Settings. Automatic social posts are only made for clients your company has marked as having agreed; getting that agreement is up to you. Messages and posts you approve or automate are yours: you're responsible for what they say and who they go to.
Tower's drafts
Tower drafts summaries, emails and posts, sometimes with the help of an AI model. Drafts can be wrong. Read them before you approve them.
Plans, trials and billing
- Every plan starts with a 14-day trial of Pro, no card needed. After it, pick a plan or your account goes read-only.
- Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe, per company, with unlimited users. Prices are on the pricing page.
- You can change plans or cancel any time in Settings. Upgrades take effect straight away, with credit for what's left of your current plan. If you cancel, your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.
- If a payment fails, we'll tell you and try again. If it keeps failing, the account goes read-only until it's sorted.
- Tower's AI features use AI credits: each plan includes an amount every month, and you can buy more or switch on automatic top-ups. Credits are charged at what the AI use costs us plus [the markup, 20%]. Bought credits don't expire and aren't refunded once used. When credits run out, Tower carries on with its templates.
Your clients' payments
Clients pay your invoices through your own Stripe account. The payment is between you and your client; DroneCRM isn't a party to it. Stripe's own terms apply, and Stripe's fees come out of your payouts. On invoices with an NDS DataDelivery™ hosting line, NDS's charge for that line is taken from the payment, or added to your next DroneCRM invoice if the client paid you another way.
Connected services
When you connect Google, Microsoft, QuickBooks, Xero, Facebook, Instagram, Stripe or NDS DataDelivery™, their own terms apply to your use of them. If one of them changes or stops, the matching part of DroneCRM may stop working until it's fixed.
Fair use
Don't use DroneCRM to send spam, to break the law, to get into other companies' data, or to overload or reverse-engineer the service. We can suspend an account that does, and we'll tell you why.
When it ends
You can stop at any time and export your data as CSV first. If we ever stop offering DroneCRM, we'll give at least 60 days' notice so you can take your data with you.
Warranty and liability
We work hard to keep DroneCRM running and correct, but it's provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or anything that follows from a flight decision, and our total liability is limited to what your company paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email account owners at least 30 days before it takes effect.
The legal part
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Venue lies exclusively in Texas courts. Questions: contact@dronecrm.net.
